Can one get pregnant if…

…making out with a guy, sperm gets on girl’s pants or underwear?

No! Sperm will definitely not get through the pants. Even if it does get on girl’s underwear, possibility to get pregnant basically doesn’t exist.

…sperm is on the external genitals?

Possibility is very small but in theory the risk does exist. It’s because spermatozoids are very active and can get very far away. In this way it is also possible to get infected by a disease.

…the guy has sperm on his hands and he strokes a girl?

No! The concentration of sperm on the guy’s hands would be so small that in this way none of the spermatozoids will get till the ovum. But it is important to wash hands before that in order not to get infected by a disease.

…sperm gets onto the belly of the girl?

No! in this way spermatozoids can’t reach the ovum. That is impossible.

…sperm is on the sheets or blanket and the girl sits on it?

No! The possibility practically doesn’t exist. Spermatozoids can’t survive long in the air or any other environment except for woman’s body.

…both partners sit in a bathtub and make out?

No! Spermatozoids can’t survive in the water if the ejaculation hasn’t happened or has happened in the water not in woman’s vagina.

 …you have sex in water?

Yes! Even if you have sex in water, pregnancy may occur. Water doesn’t get into the uterus, that is why spermatozoids can get in without any trouble. Water doesn’t protect from diseases either. To have safe sex, you can use condoms in the water as well (just put it on before getting into the water). Spermicidal contraception isn’t advised as it’s efficiency drops a lot in the water.

…the guy pulls out his penis from the vagina before the ejaculation?

Yes! The reason behind this is because some small part of the sperm which can contain spermatozoids gets out already before having intercourse or in the beginning of it. Because of that there’s a chance to get pregnant. This contraception method is called pull out method.

Besides – interrupted intercourse doesn’t protect from sexually transmitted diseases. It also creates stress that influences the quality of being together with your partner.
